Inspite of the importance of co-operative auditing to the development of co-operative it has been observed that there are many problems associated with co-operative auditing. THE FORMATION/REGISTRATION OF A CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES IN ENUGU STATE (A CASE STUDY OF THE PROCEDURE INVOLVED IN REGISTERING A CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES IN ENUGU STATE): This research project is a very crucial study for the formation of co-operative societies in Enugu metropolis. From the history of co-operative it’s all about people working together or working mutually. The project will stress about the need for the formation of co-operative society and also how co-operative societies are being registered in Enugu state. The steps that must be taken in the formation of co-operative societies, the conditions for registration and also the Economic advantages of registration will be highlighted in the research objective. To solve the research problem both primary and secondary data were collected. Related publications were also reviewed for ideas which might make a contribution to the design of the project. The research instrument that was used in collecting data were questionnaires and oral interview with the respondents which comprised of the staff of Enugu state co-operative located at Opara Avenue and some of the members of registered co-operative societies in Enugu state. In organizing and interpreting the data collected, table frequencies and percentages were used. COOPERATIVE BUSINESS ORGANIZATION AS A VIABLE TOOL FOR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT (A CASE STUDY OF IMO STATE COOPERATIVE FEDERATION): The role of cooperative movement in the social economic development of any society cannot be over emphasized. Cooperative movement plays an important role in the social economic development of any state. In Nigeria, cooperative movement has not much impact in the development of the economy, this contributed for this research study; Cooperative Business Origination as a Viable Tool for Social and Economic Development of Imo State. In this research study, the major aim is to identify the contribution, future prospects and problems. This research work will make the reader understand the importance of producer (agriculture) societies in the development of a developing country. This research work helps to analyze the importance of cooperative in the social-economic development of Imo State and at end of this research work, there were be need to improve the effectiveness of cooperative organization. To this research work, data were collated from the three selected cooperative organization in different local government areas in Imo State through questionnaires and interview. The data collected mode was that the contribution of cooperatives and the social economic development of Imo State has not been so effective. The major recommendation are that cooperative business should be injected with more capital to boost their business, proper education for the management, members and adequate government assistance, with these stand a better chance tom play a major role in social economic development of Imo State

THE NEED FOR AUDITING AND INVESTIGATION IN SMALL SCALE INDUSTRIES:Increasing of frauds and misappropriation of small scale industries funds and properties by small scale industries possess a question as to whether auditing plays any significant role towards ensuring proper accountability in the small scale industries. The researcher embarked upon this study to help small scale industries in pinpointing some of the need for auditing and investigation kicking against the effective of small scale Industries. So recommendation can be made to off see the situation. Based on this finding the researcher believes if these recommendations are carried out the survival and growth of small scale Industries will be a reality. The study was conducted in Enugu State. In the process of carrying this project, it involves money, time, information gathering etc. This research project is composed of five chapters.
